Jay is a Connecticut native and his photography business specializes in wedding and portrait work. 

Throughout the years, he has pursued photographing images that capture his interest. With the birth of his first child, his interest in photography peaked, and with the support of his family decided to actively pursue photography as his full-time profession. He feels truly lucky to pursue a profession that has the ability to stir great emotions through images of happy times in life, be it a bride's wedding day, multi-generation portrait session or a child's first portrait session.

At Fleming Portrait Design one of our goals is that you will have timeless images which will be cherished by all generations. He prides himself in working on capturing the true personalities of people through his images.

He uses all digital equipment to capture the images of his clients, utilizing his own individual style.

Jay was professionally trained at Hallmark Institute of Photography in Massachusetts.

Prior to attending the Hallmark Institute of Photography, he spent many years in the corporate arena.

In addition to photography, he enjoys outdoor activities with his family, such as bicycle riding, hiking and always working on expanding his wife's flower and heirloom vegetable gardens.

Jay and his wife Maureen live in Trumbull, CT along with their two daughters and one son.
